Send a developer to Tusk and keep 20% of what they pay for a year.

Every studio account comes with a referral link. Share it with a developer, an agency or a client who builds their own sites. When they sign up on your link and start paying, 20% of every payment for their first 12 months is yours.

How it works

• Copy your link. It is on your dashboard under Refer & earn, and it looks like tuskcms.com/?ref=your-studio.
• Share it. Put it in a tweet, a Slack group, the footer of a proposal or a talk. Anywhere developers are.
• They sign up. Email, Google or Microsoft: as long as they arrive on your link within 90 days of clicking it, the account is attributed to you. You can see the count on your dashboard straight away.
• They pay, you earn. Each time Stripe collects a payment from them in their first 12 months, a commission appears on your dashboard. Operator at US$150 a month earns you US$30 a month, for a year, from one referral.
• We pay you. Commissions are approved once the payment is 30 days old and cannot be refunded, then paid monthly by PayPal or bank transfer to the payout email on your dashboard. Minimum payout US$50; anything below rolls into the next month.

Where the link goes

• Every studio’s link is printed on the dashboard and can be copied in one click.
• Sites you have not white-labelled show a small “Built with Tusk” mark in the editor your clients use. That mark carries your link, so a client who goes on to build their own sites is your referral too.
• Stripe records the referrer on the subscription it creates, so attribution is not something we could quietly lose.

The rules

• You cannot refer yourself, another account you own, or a studio that already exists.
• No paid ads on the word “Tusk” or “tuskcms”, no coupon-site listings, no misleading claims about what Tusk does or costs.
• Refunded or disputed payments earn nothing, and a commission already counted is reversed.
• The programme can change or end with 30 days’ notice; commissions already earned are still paid. Abuse ends it for that account immediately.
• You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. We can issue a statement on request.
